Potato Bowl With Vegetables and Fried Tofu

In my family, we don’t cook much, but we sometimes make this food. I am a vegetarian, so I eat a lot of tofu. Vegetarians in America usually eat a lot of tofu. In Texas, we also eat a lot of mashed potatoes and corn. Everybody can easily make this, so go try it!

 

Ingredients:   Serves 1 – 2

 

  • Mashed potatoes (2 cups)
  • One bag of peas (½ cup)
  • One bag of corn (½ cup)
  • Tofu (If you prefer meat, that is also okay)

  • Frying oil (½  cup)

 

  1. First, deep fry your meat or tofu with the frying oil as preferred. 
  2. Put the mashed potatoes into the bowl halfway. Use a spoon to create a dent right in the middle.
  3. Mix the peas and corn, then put them into the hole.
  4. When the frying is done, place the meat or tofu on top of the mashed potatoes.
  5. The bowl is finished!
